Welcome everyone.. to another 30 min social media marketing Twitter Chart!
Hey Con - how have you been?
It sounds like it. Do you prefer it that way, to be busy versus lounging around, or somewhere in between?
Prefer busy! I'll have plenty of time to lounge around after I'm gone!
You always know the right thing to say, Con!
So, last week, we went through resources that may help in planning a launch
A launch might be a product or service that is launched for the Holiday Season, for that extra push in income...
Or maybe, the launch is for something new, even branding, for the upcoming new year.
What advice do you have, (even thinking as a consumer) ...
Tough, because are a short period & if you don't have a good presence already I think it's hard to do anything
So, you are recommending that if the holiday season is important, that brands ensure that that is incorporated into who/what
... continued ... That way, they can sort of activate that portion for that short holiday season Good advice,
In practical terms, if you are a toy company, think all year long about how you want to present your toys for the holiday season
Maybe, when a new Barbie and Ken arrive, dress them up and take a picture with them on a sleigh so you will have the pic ready
That industry is all about the !
So, what u r saying is that the company, especially online, should focus on their overall strategy 4 the year, eh?
I guess you could say that.. lol
Do you expect any less from me?
No, I can't say that I do. That's why I love firing off these questions. lol
Yes, the entire annual cycle
What is one of the most important things you learned in your line of work, Con?
Always travel with only carry-ons when flying
Sorry, couldn't resist that last one...Always have a plan & be ready to amend it!
BTW - I agree. I started doing that traveling as a trainer. It limited the clothing, with all of the gear, but...
You just get better and better! If we were at the beginning of this chat, I should just sit back and let you fire off tips
Ok, all... Keep gathering those tips, as we enter into that season. Feel free to share any before we wrap up this
Careful, next week's may be "Words of Wisdom from Con Sweeney!"
Either that or "How to Enjoy Eggnog..."
I don't think we could do better than putting you in the hot seat. You have great advice, Con!
Have to bail now! See everyone next week! Thanks for joining!
Ok all... See you next week at the same time, same place with
Be careful what you ask for!
